Ok so there has been some debate with our team regarding a very important question. If there was a battle between all the ants in the world (red, black, all of em) and all the gorillas, who would come out victorious?

though thousands of ants would be trampled/killed, there are just too many of them and they would overwhelm the relatively few gorillas out there.

Did you know that there are ants in ancient Assyria (used in capitol punishment)that could eat the flesh off a human body within 12 minutes? And the bad news is--they're still around today :eek: !

Yeah, that'd be the one where Mac goes to the amazon.

And as the story goes, he tries to destroy the killer ant invasion at a village. He gets a flame-thrower, but runs out of gasoline.

Finally, he whips up some home-made explosive and fashions a protective suit to go into the ant colony, blows up a nearby dam and floods the ants out of the village.

Damn that show rules. I own season 1 on DVD. Definitely reccommend it.

i would definately have to say that the ants would win. But how bout this.

If all the humans in the world were to fight everysingle bug in the world(BEES, ANTS, WORMS, ETC.), who would win????

Ants win hands down, and here is why:


Ever heard of the Bullet Ant? The reason it gets that name is because the sting hurst SO much, that its compared to being shot. you get couple of those buggers on you, game F**King over.

I'm for the gorillas' but I saw on the discovery channel there are approximately 1,000,000 ants for every 1 human being...you do the math.

What if it was really windy? Then I think the gorillas would have a chance. What if the Gorillas evolved into humans... would that change anything?

i would have to say ants also. Ants can lift amazing amounts of weight. If the ants were smart enough then they should gang up on the gorillas and throw them into the oceans. Game Set Match

How dumb are you why would ants throw gorillas into the ocean they could just eat the gorillas and it's not like gorillas can't swim and secondly i believe that humans could destroy all the bugs but after we did it would all be after we won pretty quickly because it would demolish the food chain

Key phrase here--"If the ants were smart enough".

However, I'm still gonna have to stick with my vote for ants, based on that MacGyver episode I posted about earlier.
