with 1 lap to go, finnerty was like 15 meters behind krisch, i didnt think finnerty had a chance to catch him, but he did, and he even put 9 or 10 seconds on him. It seemed like rob was just toying with krisch, he had so much left, and i dont think 9:00 is out of the question for rob at state!

Finnerty had a 60 second split for his last lap, compared with Krisch's 71 second lap. It's just not fair.....But as far as results, here's what I remember:
800:
Mike Finnerty: 1:56
Brian Sames: 1:57
Tom Walthour: 1:58
Doug DeBold: 1:59
Charlie Herrmann: 2:00.7
Andrew Van Benschoten: 2:01.8
3200:
Rob Finnerty: 9:11
Mike Krisch: 9:15
TC Lumbar: 9:28
Jackson Wiley: 9:53
Josh Gerber: 9:54
As I'm sure you can tell, these are not complete lists. It's only what I remember (I was running the 800).

Hey, u forgot me in the 800; 1:58 mid.
800 finalists for Thursday:
Dowe (Apple Valley): 1:57.06
Sames (Shakopee): 1:57 mid
Finnerty (Burnsville): 1:58 low
Cory (Eden Prairie): 1:58 mid
Then other guys making it were Debold (Hopkins), Wallan (Chaska), Bemis (Shakopee), and Walthour (Edina).
And Rob is God, he was much farther back than 15 meters with a lap left, with two hundred left he was still at least 15 meters back from Krisch. He looked like it was a walk in the park, no strain or tension in his face at all, cool as a cat. Shattered the section 6AA 3200 record by ten seconds, held by Krisch last year. A new distance dynasty in the 1600 and 3200 has been born. Garrett who?

Good thing I'm not a 3200 runner.
