What can I do in the offseason to improve my discus? Is there anything to do besides throw constantly? I threw 120ish this year as a junior and am hoping to hit 140 next year. Is this possible? Thanks...

1.) Hit the weight room to a borderline ridiculous extent.
2.) Get a plyometric routine going to work on your explosiveness.
3.) If you can find a throwing camp this summer with college/usatf coaches, go for it.
4.) During the winter months, keep throwing. If you can't throw outdoors, it's possible to throw indoors if you have the right facilities. Throwing a rubber disc into one of those drop down curtains that a lot of schools have to divide up their gyms and having the disc fall into a high jump mat is a great way to stay active when the circle is iced over.
