So I just had an idea. Just for fun, I was thinking about running a 55 barefoot in indoor this year. Would that even be allowed? 55 is not my main event, so it would just be to see what I could do with the lightest shoe possible: running on air. thoughts?

If the official is Lax, they'll let you do it. Though spikes would def. be faster as oppose to no spikes. Especially in sprints.

I fly when I run barefoot... in grass... not on the track.

i love sprinting in no shoes. i probably suck at it but it's so fun. yeah if the official is one you have all year or somethin, maybe if you make friends with him he will. or at the first meet say that you can't wear shoes because your medicine for your allergy of rubber and suede hasn't been refilled yet. ((add dramatic sob))

i doubt that would fly. the track is rubber, and i wear powercats (all pleather). so wearing shoes would be insulating me from rubber and suede.

anyway, my coach probably won't let me waste the effort to do a 55 barefoot anyway. it's shaping up to be a very intense season.
