What are all the winter track clubs in CO?
I know there are clubs from Cherry Creek, one from Chaparral, one from Littleton, but are there any others?
When do these start? What are people doing for training?
I assume they are not mandatory ;), but what benefit do athletes get from them?
Is Simplot the ultimate goal for the clubs, or is it something else?
Just trying to get some general info, thanks.

Most all of the clubs are listed below on the USATF website for colorado.

Highschools generally use indoors to get some of their runners in shape for the HS season. Most of the clubs are run by coaches that love track, some HS coaches some are just coaches. SOme clubs are more intense then others, some are just go have fun teams. I'm not sure what all the different teams do as far as training, but there is good training out there and there is bad training, just depends on what you are looking for and what team you go with. Some of the club teams started back in September and some start whenever the kids get done with there cross country, volleyball, and football season, just depends.
I would say the benefit that you get from club track is that you are getting in a lot of cases is much more focused training on your specific event group then you might during a HS season. You get to pick your team and the expertease of your coach and their track record of success to help you develop as a runner. A lot of teams definately make Simplot that big race they go to and in most cases that is a good meet and a lot of fun for just about everyone that runs there. There are other meets to go to though. I know that our team has traveled to Arkansas the last 2-3 years and ran some of our runners there. There are two different national chmapionships that I know that we took kids to last year, Brad had a couple go and so did the Littleton coach who took Nakita Eades in the hurdles. Tony Wells took his to the other national in Balitmore, we went to NY. You can go down to New MExico if you want they have a fast banked track down there.
Indoors is what you make of it. It can be a time to just get kids in shape or it can be a time to get a kid a scholarship and signed with a school. Out east it is much bigger then it is out here in Colorado, but if you want you can get into some pretty good competition and National recognition.
Okay, so what schools/ athletes are doing a winter track program? i know chaparral is but i'm interested in who else is
