Had to reapproach this question when I saw the other. I think the two options here are a bit more appropriate than the other thread's.

Marion still might come back, if the drug testers would decide weather or not to charge her she could get convicted or she could get back to training and get back in shape if they don't. On the other hand, tim had been tested positive with just about every steriod on the market (exageration but still the man was on at the very least five).

Is there really a positive result out there for him? I haven't specifically seen one.

Marion Jones is extremely popular and there was so much bad news released about her, people know her a lot, she would go to any meet and so many people would boo her it would be weird I think. Less people know of Tim and his drug stuff so maybe it would be more likely he'd race.
This is strange

Marion is not going to be boo'd a lot unless they actually find her guilty of something, as of now, she is as clean as a whistle. Case close!

Tell that to the people who booed Regina Jacobs before she tested positive. Rumors are enough for some people, face it, this is a reality which will happen, whether or not she actually did drugs. I think she might retire, I don't know if she will compete this season, we should have a bet :)

But many people assumed Jacobs was on drugs for years. Marion's name just recently began to appear in drug scandals. She's scheduled to run the 400m at Mt. Sac. Hopefully she's drops something fast and shuts people up. BTW, who's her new coach?

She'll be booed because she's a disgrace to track and field, regardless of whether she is guilty of using drugs herself or not. Standing by a cheater like Montgomery while he robbed the track world of it's every declining dignity by taking a world record. Ban them both for life. The track world is better off without such a disgrace like Marion and Monty.

What's with you man. You're letting whatever you have against her keep you from saying anything logical. There are fans of Marion who will never stop loving her if they saw her inject the roids in national tv. So it's not that far from ignorant for you to say she'll be booed just for being assoaciated. Justin Gatlin & Shawn Crawford are standing behind a cheater as well. Will they be booed?

OF COURSE there are fans of Marion who will never stop loving her....that makes what i said illilogical!?? are you out of your mind.....You have killers in Jail with fan clubs....it doesn't mean there aren't millions who hate the person. having fans does NOT stop you from getting booed, as is OBVIOUS by my stance. I would boo her in a heartbeat.
As for Gatlin and Crawford.....of course they won't get booed, they made it out liek Grahman was this saint in the whole thing....He probably got a sweet deal for being the one who turned in the needle. But he was made out like the saviour or track and field....when really his actions were pushed by greed and need to have his athletes be the best. So no they won't get booed.

The illogical part is you saying she's going to be booed just because she's standing behind Tim. If it was gonna happen it would have happened already. She was competing in a season where everyone knew about the allegations against her, and the charges against Tim. She ran at the trials and at the Olympics. If people were gonna boo her, it would have happened already. And thats not to say that she will never get booed. But if it was going to happen, it would have happened already.
And again if you feel this way about Marion & Tim, you should also boo Crawford & Gatlin. You pretty much are saying that anyone who runs with Graham is on drugs. So that means you think Crawford & Gatlin are on something. Which would mean they're standing behind him like Marion is standing behind Tim.

Oh give me a break lol, did i really need to include that she'll be booed because many people believe she used drugs like Conte and Hunter said and not solely because she stood behind Monty?....and she WAS booed last year, not by everyone but by a good amount. Some meets even univited her....this isn't hidden knowledge why she has and WILL be booed. Whether you're a fan or not you can't ignore the LOGICAL reasons behind it. I didn't think i had to mention these are they seemed to OBVIOUS to have to list ontop of the fact that she stood behind and either been married or had a kid with two cheaters.
She will never get booed?? it's a little to late for that....she already has been. And i would boo her if she ever came to Boston. So you are 100% wrong to say she will never be booed. As long as their are people out there who actually care about track and field there will be people who will boo her.

Steve Riddick. A 1976 Olympian, Riddick was a gold medalist on the 4x1 relay. He's also the former men's coach at Norfolk State University (where he coached Tim who briefly attended Norfolk).

Marion is probably clean, but she has made a few too many judgement errors in the character of the men she is with (Hunter was juiced up and Tim has been found for having about as many as you can possibly have) and this will probably ruin her credibility and make it where many fans will think she is on drugs. she should try to keep her career going for another year or two but if it hasn't blown over by then she should just get out of the sport and keep the negetive press about it off the air.

Can't leave out her leaving one cheating coach for one of the most famous steroid giving coaches in history in Charlie Francis and trying to hide it at first before NIke found out and made her and Monty leave him.
More washed up? (Granted, only one race...an opener at that)

Actually she trained at my school last year during the spring. It was cool but when she left she ended up leaving some bottle of something in our storage shed next to a pair of the blocks that her training group used. We call it now marion's "chicken soup".

It was proven she was training in canada under Charlie francis and some other guy who they claimed was the reason they were there....Nike forced them to leave him or face contract problems.

She and Montgomery spent 2 months in Hawaii, in January and February training under Riddick. The two trained at the University of Hawaii, whose athletic director, Herman Frazier, is a good friend and former club teamate of Riddick's.
"They were here for about two months,'' Frazier said. "I saw them a couple times. I even had lunch with her and Tim once. They had a real good training session. She was in pretty good shape, from what I could tell. They were training very, very hard, sometimes twice a day.''
