Only Stanner Games, Yale, and New Balance left. Reese is in. Who else should get an invite?

Pretty much anyone who goes under 5 this season has a reasonable shot to qualify. Last year I think the slowest qualifier had an indoor season PR of 4:58. So I think all those girls who ran 4:56 at Hispanic are a safe bet for a Millrose invitation unless some crazy times are thrown down.

Sheffy qualified for the 4x4 though you think shes going to run the mile if she makes it or the 4x400

Last year Sheffey was invited to run the girls mile but opted out for the 4 x 4, I believe, so I wouldn't be surprised if she did the same again.

As sub-4:50 girls last year I would suspect both Tauro and Weatherbee were offered auto-invites during the early XC season. I don't know this for sure of course or whether they accepted them (although Tauro was offered and accepted for the 2006 race her junior year so I don't know why she wouldn't have this year).

Sheffey may be taking a shot at the 1000 national record the next day at the collegiate meet. although i dont think she can run it i think its like 245 she mite just be looking for a really fast time. But thats what she did last year. Also we will see how she runs today at stanner. I think she will run a fast time

Why is she listed in the 3K at Stanner? Unless she's already invited/qualified, you'd think she'd be entered in the mile.

she ran 456 i dont think a 456 has ever not gotten in that would be crazy

Anyone know what Higginson has been up to? She had an amazing XC season and is a strong miler as well. It seems as though if given the op, she'd be competitive here as well (and at BIG for that matter).

Higginson split i believe a 4:56 on their winning DMR at Marine Corps.

There are plenty of Section XI girls that have a shot I think. Sheffey, Ahn, Hogan, McCurdy, and Longman. All have raced well thus far this season. The first four all won their respective races today at Stanner (Mile, 3000m, 1000m, and 600m) and are solid milers.
