a 25 foot long jump would be the 3rd farthest in the united states and the 51 would be a top jump also but im not sure how far up there.

Mules is legit, but I don't know if he wants me to reveal his name, I'm pretty sure everyone can figure out who he is.
Uhm. . .I'm having the worst outdoor season ever probably because my hamstring is still torn and I never took time off. Quite honestly, I'd be pumped just to hit 19' and 38'5" right now.
PR --> Goal
LJ - 20'3.5" --> 20'6"
TJ - 39'3" --> 39'10"
I figure if I set my goals too high, I'll be pissed when I can't hit them.
So far this outdoor season I've jumped an amazing 18'6" and 38'1", I rule.

I should do these goal things the night before every meet. . .jumped 39'10.5" in the triple, though the girl measuring screwed me out of a few inches (and I let her know it. . .I wanted that 40+ jump so bad). Didn't long jump today for the first time all year, but I'll be back at it on Thursday on a track made of pavement http://www.dyestat.com/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif

7 3 is a good goal. u do realize u only need 6 6.75 to qualify for indoor nationals. To bad my season is over sniff. I did really bad at our regional meet and didnt get out. But ill probably go to nike outdoor and maybe go to the great southwest. so my goal is still to make 6 10

League Championship Tomorrow:
PR: 40'11"
Goal: 41'2"
My hamstring is shot to ****, probably the worst it's been since the day I injured it all those months ago, but I'm still jumping. Why? Because I'm an idiot. If it hurts too much, I'm just gonna take one jump and/or foul because you can't scratch from events at the league meet.

over the weekend i just PR'd in triple jump by over a foot and a half and obtained my previous senior year goal as a junior. I jumped 46' 3", with my past PR being 44' 7". Well, i guess my new senior year goal is 48 feet, and hopefully i hit 47 feet in the next few meets. I only have four left. I need to hit the weight room over the summer.

nice pr, did u change anything specific?
skifree
05-24-2005, 11:54 PM
I think the only real things i changed specifically were speed on the runway and having fresh legs. Throughout the previous portion of the season i had either been sore from soccer games or from speed workouts. I'm finally peaking and its been really nice. The funny thing is im not even the best on my team. My sophomore teamate jumped 47' 9" in his first year of track. Some people just have amazing natural talent.
