John Jay is losing their coach yet again after this year. Our coach now is only like 23 and needs to go back to college to become a teacher and get a job, and he might come back in the future. However for the next few years, we aren't going to have a coach. Hopefully they'll get someone good, but good coaches are hard enough to come by. Coach Steve Perks was by far one of the best coaches New York has seen and had brought John Jay some outstanding performances. Our coach now thats leaving, Matt Uzenski, is also a gifted young coach that has brought us 2 league and county championships. So hopefully they get someone who can continue John Jay's greatness. I am a senior so I won't have to worry myself on the new coach on my behave, but for the rest of the team I hope they get someone good.

Matt Uzenski did a great job following coach Perks, who's a legend. It's too bad he's leaving. No doubt he'll pop up somewhere again and do a great job. He's got a great future.
Here's hoping JJ gets a great new coach. They are a storied program and deserve it...

i ran with matt a few times during the summer he's a cool guy and seemed like he'd be a great really dedicated coach.
