Is anybody here doing JO's this summer? I haven't heard anyone else say that they're doing it, so it might be a small state meet. I guess it's just not as popular as it used to be.

The summer after my junior year my friend and I decided to run the steeple at the AAU JO nationals. It was my first time ever doing it because we didn't have it at our association meet. The 2k steeple is definitely worth a try, it's fun, especially when you do it in the summer where there really isn't any pressure.
USATF JO nationals are a lot of fun, although it takes a toll on your body running those races in the summer. Last year nationals were at Hayward Field in Eugene, OR, that was an amazing experience getting to run there.

wrong.
usatf meets are perfect for trying out the steeple. i tried it for the first time after my junior year as well. i wish mn had more steeple events, i believe the carleton relays is the only meet with the chase on the schedule.
enjoy it while it is only 2k as well, once you tac on a kilometer it gets a little more tough...

Hey, my account was finally validated... go Ducks. My old name DGFRunner doesn't allow me to post for some reason anymore, but I like this one better anyways
