Is anyone here planning to run the Heartbreak Hill Road Race in Newton the day before the marathon? I'm signed up.

I think it was 5:07 or so. Andrew Wortham, a really good freshman from Newton South(10:07 I hear) was 10 seconds or so back(I think) to get second comfortably. Race went out real slow.
In the open race, Dan Lau of Dyestat cruised to a winning time of 5:15. Dyestatters sweep. Red Sox win, and a CR in the Marathon. Pretty great day.

Yah, Andrew is really strong on hills. He's a true XC runner, I think one of his best races of the season was at Van Cortlandt - I can't wait to see what he can run next year in Franklin Park.

Haha, Dan Lau -> Dan Lou (Matias?)
I'm dissapointed he didn't enter as Jason Rexing :-(

I thought it was kinda funny that the girl that won the first race was Jampel

Noah "Janpal" won the 88-91 race.

and what's with this:
5:24 1 01-98 1 M 416 Dan Lou Waban,MA
I swear my watch said 5:15 when i crossed. lol. 5:24 would make more sense though, since I jogged up the hill in over 3 minutes, then stopped for water and said hi to Nick Abele at the top.

edit: the times for the last event are off by a lot. Richard Long, the meet announcer, ran through in 5:50, but his time is listed as 6:04.
