In one of my classes we just watched a video on this couple, absolute nut cases, both of them. The plea bargain she got was amazing. http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americas/06/20/killer.release.reut/index.html

Ah, women. When has there ever been a serial killer in prison that wasn't inundated with marriage proposals?

And the poor hard working guy with no criminal record, dunlap disease, and a slightly receding hairline can't get a break.

Go figure.

this is pretty scary. i've been getting regular updates from the radio station i listen to from montreal. i think at some point there was supposed to be a name change but that might've been a while back.

people for the most part, in canada, for good reason, do not want her to be anywhere near them. i remember the news person saying where she was going to move to, but i don't remember it right now.

Hahaha, if you stop and think about it though- marrying that imprisoned serial killer means she never has to wash his socks, and possibly more important yet- assurance that her man will be kept locked up in a cage when she's not around.

Makes perfect sense, once you put yourself in these women's shoes.

I agree with Layla. Alone, she's not dangerous, she's to0 submissive to be dangerous. It's those men she's attracted to.

If only they could keep her from dating...

My ex-wife's first husband used to send her out into the apartment complex to lure young women up to party with them, for his sexual purposes. If she didn't she would be threatened at knifepoint or gunpoint- so she did.

she's very dangerous

A prison psychiatric assessment described her as "a very artificial, articulate, manipulative person."

Me too. If she doesn't get snuffed out first, she'll have some guy wrapped around her finger in no time flat; where that goes from there will probably be wherever she wants it to go.

Soooo...If a family member of one of the earlier victims makes that happen, gets arrested for it, and you're on that jury...do you follow the law and convict, or do you set 'em free?

No way do I convict under those circumstances, to hell with the law.
