Has anyone tried these? I remember reading about them in runner's world, and being only $25... If youve tried them, how heavy are they?

LOL, it's SPALDING and it's from PAYLESS. On that note, I saw these sweet trainers at Wal-Mart that I almost got..

I think that's the Jasari plate with the Miler upper, I can't tell though. Should I get these guys?

Well, the shoes I suggested are good for cross country. We had a race last fall on a golf course, and I did pretty well. Below par, at least.

no, no, you guys got it all wrong: thats an updated premontreal plate. saucony must have stolen the design fomr nike and made a few changes becausse the shoe is def saucony, it must be because the upper is suede, almost like the arch-lock system on the velocity distance: http://www.shoebuy.com/saucony-velocity-spike-distance/163642/374517

Very true. But that plate, although similar to the jasari, it isn't. Looks completely original. Seems agressive enough for a 400. Must be a mid-distance spike.
