I know this is cocky and what not but I think we (La Plata guy's) will take 3a State title. We have a lot of depth and already have several top people qualified in events.

I also think a lot of the sprint, hurdle, and jump champions will come from SMAC in 3a. There's A lot of depth down here.

Corryl Boyd of Westlake ran 47.x last year at states, 48.x in NIN finals, and 48.0 at SMAC last weekend. He's also fast at 100 and 200 and a good jumper. Westlake also has several other sprinters that are fast. They are also good at the sprint relays but their 4x200 was DQed today at 3a south regionals.

I don't think anyone pays too much attention to SMAC even though we have a lot of talent. It seems Westlake is the only name thats comes up in a discussion about our conference. Oh well I guess...

The best race in my opinion will be the boys 2a 1600, it's anyones race.

What about centro? what will he be running in states?

I dont know too much about 2A, what good runners are in that? All i know of there is revelle and bazell, and the FSK kids (and I only see them put up good times in the 3200)

I think centrowitz isgonna be running open 8, maybe 4x8, not race too hard in order to qualify for junior nat's and then junior pan-american.

Well you have Revelle who ran 4:15 at Penn, Bazell who ran 9:13 3200 indoors, Joey Thompson the champ in the 1600 and 3200 from last year, and Casey Lyons who won the 1600 indoors over Bazell. Those four will round out the top four in any order, it's going to be a great race.

In the 3200 you will have Revelle, Bazell, Joey Thompson, Arthur Leathers and Jared Welsh(the two FSK kids you were talking about), and Jimmy Greene(beat Arthur Leathers at regionals with a 10:01) and those are the only kids I really know about.

As for Centro I heard he was just doing the 1600 at states, no open 800 which would show an awesome match-up between him and Thibou who ran an open 1:51. Centro I think would be more focusing on getting ready for the 3200 at NON not junior nat's or junior pan-american. He may want to take down Shane Stroup's state record 1600 meter time of I think 4:07 which is definitely a strong possibility.

Why are you asking how poly is looking when you're obviously from there? Do you need someone else to tell you that they are looking like the favorites at this point? The race for the 2A title won't be decided until the last event, so don't get anymore cocky than you already are.

OMG...

you have insulted THE polyxc...Holy ****, son.... run and hide before others catch wind of this...

you obviously have much to learn about Dyestat...everone knows that polyxc is the foremost authoriative figure on Northeast High School track and feild and will always be. He is not in high school anymore so I think it was a fair question. He really wanted to know...and when polyxc asks a question...goddammit you better have the answer and not disrespek [/rant]

haha my bad, i thought he was some kid from poly trying to talk up his school. In that case my apologies, our team is going for the 2A state championship along with poly, but they're leading right now, so i thought it was some kid trying to bad mouth us because they were ahead.
