So this year as a freshman i ran a 11.00 in the 100 which seems to be one of the faster times but my PR in the 200 was a 22.8, im just assuming that the time will drop as i get bigger and older...any thoughts?

well technically you should be able to down your times as you get older. But it also depends if you train a little before the season and other things. If you keep yourself in good maintained condition for next season you should be fine

no, in fact you will only get slower as you get older, nobody has ever gotten faster past their freshman year.
might i also suggest changing the name of this thread to, "i feel like bragging about my times to boost my ego"
Haha.... typical freshman.

thats damn fast for a freshman...i think you'll get faster, if you do the right stuff. like train in the off season.

he never asked any question, he was just posting his times. asking if your going to get faster past your freshman year is like asking if you will get hurt jumping off a 10 story building. if he had asked if his 100 is consistant with his 200, workouts he can handle with those times, what sort of 400 he might manage with those, then he would actually be looking for advice and he would have gotten help. he was just showcasing.

guys i can understand why you think i was showcasing but i didnt mean it that way. I just thought it was strange that in some cases my 100 time is faster than some peoples but my 200 is not. I was also wondering by how much your 200 times decreased over your high school career?

eh..well obviously there's 3 main reasons why other people are better than your 200m..1 being your not natrually built for it...2 you lack the endurance they have... or 3. ur not in shape or your not training hard enough and they could just best faster than you.. well my opinion ne ways payce
