Can I use Nike Frees as flats for CC? If not what flat would you suggest?

Never, ever use Free's to race.

Don't use frees, use waffles or kennedys. I prefer waffles.

I ordered waffles in Eastbay.com. Is it okay to road race with them?

I know several kids who train and race in Frees. They love them.

Absolutely, I run all my road races and cross country races in them. I also train in them.
