Tigers are at 2-2 after a loss today to the Indians. Ugi blew the lead in the eigth.

Pistons are on a 5 game winning streak--taking it to Miami on Sunday. Pistons defeat Orlando tonight.

Lions have the 10th pick in the NFL Draft in 2 weeks...who do they take?

Antrel Rolle would be sweet, but we need an OL I say we should go with Alex Barron the dude is a beast. 6-7 300 and runs a 4.85...

The general consensus is they'll take a defensive player. A couple months ago, I projected Dan Cody from OU would be taken, others are saying Derrick Johnson from UTexas. I still think they'll go with the defensive player, I'm not sure that Barron is worth a 10th pick.

True, first we have to decide who our QB is, joey, or jeff. personally i like jeff garcia, he has superbowl experince. last year he just got screwed because nobody could catch, doesnt matter though because we should just hand it off everytime.

We have Garcia for one year. He is here mainly to provide Joey with a quality backup. Joey is the Lions' franchise QB. What remains to be seen is if he will fully develop into a good starter.

That said, I would love to see the Lions take Derrick Johnson, we would have a scary core of linebackers.

Hell yeah we would. OMG that is so nice to think about, we should definately win the division this year, no prob.

green bay: no OL everybody left
bears: crap they are worse then us
minnestoa: only team that scares me, the have dante but no moss. The thing is though they have a high draft pick and could get edwards.

Vikings won't get Edwards, they might get Williams. The consensus is Edwards will be going to the Bears, but he'll have no one to pass to him. He could, however, help develop Rex Grossman.

The Lions don't need help on the offensive side of the ball--except maybe tight end and a little help on the line (if Jamaal Brown from OU falls into the second round, he'd be a good pick). There is no Kellen Winslow type TE in this draft, and the Lions need help with their pass rush.

If the Lions go with a DE, I would say they'd go with either Erasmus James, Dan Cody, Marcus Spears, or Shawne Merriman. The Lions could go for an LB, and I would say that the best LB for them would be Derrick Johnson, but the LB/S from Georgia (Davis?) might be a good pick too, I rate him lower than Johnson because of the uncertainty of what position he'll play + I've seen Johnson play in the Big XII and he chased down Adrian Peterson.

If we went with secondary, I would love to see Antrell Rolle. He's a beast and could be a shutdown corner to compliment Dre' Bly. He probably won't fall to the 10th pick though.

One thing though, that I just read on ESPN.com is that the Titans have a new offensive coordinator--Norm Chow from USC. It makes me think that if Mike Williams is still on the board at number 6, then the Titans (who are in need of a wide receiver after losing Dyson to the Ravens) will take Mike Williams to be their big-name-go-to wide receiver.

Oops, I was thinking Norm Chow and also Chris Cash, the Lions CB from USC and combined the two.

Tigers are taking it to the Indians today. Going into the top of the 8th, it's 11-1 Detroit.

Wilfredo Ledesma went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 7 hits.

Carlos Pena and Marcus Thames have hit homeruns. Looking at our outfield, they aren't hitting too well. Nor is our second baseman.

Rondell White is our only outfielder hitting well thus far. A pleasant surprise is that Brandon Inge started this season strong.

Man, tigers just dominated. 11-1 WOW! Yay! we are 3-2. Is our next series against Minnestoa, or do we have somebody before them?

Bonderman's 1st inning performance was a work of art, to say the least.

Well at least the Tigers tried to make a game of it afterwards.

Pistons win 80-72, extending their winning streak to 6, and breaking Miami's home winning streak of 18 games.

Man we are 3-4.

Guesses where will we finish in the division?
