Are deer ticks the only ones that carry the disease or can any type of tick?

Ive heard its extremely painful and when you have it you are extremely tired all of the time. You get it from ticks (im not sure what kind) and its pretty widespread in connecticut, not much at all in northern new england

I live in Dutchess County, NY, which statistically for the last few years (at least) has had more reported cases of lyme disease than any other county in the COUNTRY!

You get it only from deer ticks. Very small they will fit on the top of a pin.

Best advice is to check yourself for ticks after running in woods or tall grass.

Lyme disease sucks! The quarterback at my school, FSU's Wyatt Sexton, is out for the season with it. It has infected him really bad, and he's done some crazy stuff partly because of it, and partly due to trippin on acid!!!

Deer ticks = really bad!
Ticks in general = get rid of them!
