It seems like he keeps his head up when he runs and simply looks around and runs where there aren't people who can tackle him.

But that alone doesn't account for getting by tacklers. Once he's in the open field, yeah, but he still has to get through all the congestion especially on punts.

Great vision, amazing blocking, elite quickness and agility. Perfect storm for him.

Like when Madden tells you the team that scores more touchdowns than the other team will win the game... Man, I was shocked by that.

Hester is good, because he's smart and he's in a league where true speed is painfully obvious. He makes quick decisions, has great acceleration and he takes advantage of angles. Speed is misunderstood in the NFL, and that's why guys like Hester stand out. The NFL is full of guys faster than Hester. But he takes advantage of the fact that everyone else in the NFL is slower than advertised. Hester has a pr in the 100m of 10.4, but so does Reggie Bush & Adrian Peterson. Tedd Ginn is at 10.5. And even still they're not in the top 10 fastest guys in the league. They're just the guys you know.

Actually he was the first (someone told me so I'm not totally positive) to have a 100 in anything. But there were like 5 players in the 08 version that had 100 in something (mostly OL).
