Can anyone name a bigger upset than Dan Harris from Shen winning the NTN regionals? He was 49th in the Federation race, 19th at States, 11th in Sectionals and 12th in his league championship. Then he wins the Regionals. Pretty amazing.

Harris's win was a huge upset, no doubt. He beat guys who finished 35-45 seconds in front of him just the previous weekend.

Warwick girls qualifying for NTN was also a huge upset.

He took down Gio, Flint, and Sniffen, who placed 5th, 9th, and 11th at Feds, respectively. I can't think of a bigger individual upset this season (although greatest upset ever might be just a bit of a stretch).

I wonder if Harris has ever won a varsity race before? Winning NTN Regionals is a pretty big first varsity win, I'd say .

this is def one of the biggest upsets i've ever known of

congrats to him and the team, what a finish to the season they had. Dan peaked at the right time obviously and that was an awesome race by him and the team.

Lets see if Harris can repeat at NTN. That would be a huge help to Shen as they try to place top 10. Although both NY teams would need big races to place that well

although of course it is an upset, i don't think thats the right word to use in this situation. an upset is when two or a couple of known ppl are racing and there is one clear favorite. there was no one clear favorite in this race, and dan harris wasnt a very known runner.
IMO, this could be one of the biggest BREAKOUT races (idk about ever, but breakout is the right word, not upset)
he certainly made a name for himself. lol i bet he can't believe he won. probably a great feeling

Its a stunning win. The guy has been running as the 4th or 5th runner on HIS TEAM the whole year.
