hey guys, just thought everyone should check out 5 Star XC camp. For anyone who is considering a camp where you can learn a lot, get some good running in, and have some fun, I highly recommend it. I have gone their the past two years and this year I will be a counselor. It is a ton of fun and everyone there is very personable and friendly. Unlike other camps, there is a lot of individual attention for each camper from a large array of counselors, coaches and experienced runners. THis year the camp is at Iroquois Springs in NY. 5 Star XC FTW Every one come, you will learn an abundance of info of running, you get to run with amazing collegiate runners, and here speechs of well-known pro's.I had the time of my life last year, and will be going back again, plus the food is great with alot of red drank.

After one of the workouts last year, there was a van with a bunch of Nike stuff to sample.

Also, my school should be getting a decent group together this year. It's gonna be fun. Definitely worth a look for those still trying to decide where to go this summer.

Iriquois springs has lots of trails, we're discovering, so if you want to get some soft surface running in, I can say we'll probably be on trails at least in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoons as well...and the roads are gravel, so there's not too much pavement either way!

On a more serious note; This was honestly my best week of summer. It really is just so depressing to know that im going to have to wait another year until I can walk around in nothing but short shorts, and rather than be ridiculed, actually be complimented on the freshly shaven smoothness of my legs. tis' a sad thought.
