Anybody use one of these? My girlfriend's cousin owns one and he said his vertical went up 8 inches in a month and a half. I've been using it for the last two weeks and I've noticed mine has increased about 3 inches.

I'm just curious if anyone else has had considerable gains. Or has it helped with high jump?

I'm hoping to go from 6' 2" to 6'7". I think with this machine, ab workouts, plyos, and my normal lifting, I should be able to do it.

i lifted religiously with one for a year along with Olympic lifts, ab workouts and all that other good ish.

im not gonna get that elaborate with my answer but vertical jump increased from 28 to 32.5. it WILL help you with your high jump. But to answer if ur gonna jump 6'7 after using it along with all ur other workouts, the answer is simply no. a 5" increase in vertical jump dosent mean ur gonna be jumping 5" higher.

QFE, vert and HJ improvements do not necessarily correlate.

So what should a preseason workout consist of if increasing your vertical doesn't help?

do Olympic style lifting like cleans and power squats and all that good stuff... the key concept to all that shiit is not really doing the exercise, but doing the lift correctly so u benefit 100% from it. So if ur real serious about getting better, get ur economics textbook out and think about making a little investment in a personal trainer that specializes in that kinda lifting. it really helps and i can guarantee u will be better than u were.
