This is a step up...but still absolutely pathetic. Reggie is an incredibly slow track to hold a national meet on, which blows my mind that they still hold our US nats there. There are so many faster tracks out there....BU being MUCH faster. I love reggie....and it's a good facility, but they've let themselves become a 3rd tier track as far as speed goes. Why are national meets being awarded to the reggie lewis center? Do none of the good tracks step up to the plate??

Anyone know if Reggie has any plans to upgrade? they must be getting some revenue from Nats being held there...the boston indoor games...and now HS nats. Do they not realize their track sucks for anything under 3k with the exception of maybe the mile? Who's in charge of stuff like that?

Tell that to all those who have set records there.

Who's in charge of stuff like that?

Thankfully, not you!

I watched a HS girl run a 2:45 1000 on that slow track a few years ago, while lapping people in an all-state meet.

You really need to get off your high horse. BU's faster, but can't come close to holding as many people for a National meet as Reggie.

Nike Indoor and Reggie have a two year agreement, 2009, 2010. That is BIG news for Boston and the area. It will be an interesting match that weekend now that both NIN and NSIC will be on "great tracks."

Reggie is fast, don't get that in your mind. RLC is fast.

This is a bit over-the-top. Reggie is not that slow. Reggie is closer to BU than PGSC in Maryland, so this is great news for the sprints.
