What is El G up to currently? Its a shame Kingofthemile.com doesnt work anymore.

Darn that crazy Bautista, not being able to afford webspace or whatever.

Anyways without KOTM, I dont know whats going on with EL G, its due time somethings going on with El G.

Its been a long time after the Olympics, many of the famous/top runners have done or are doing something in the near future competition wise. What about El G?

~!! :p !!~ (In honor of Bautista; those of you that knew him, knows hes a crazy kkkat. and does stupid random stuff like that smiley stuff.)

I had been thinking about him recently. Someone posted I think on letsrun about OAR's Quenton Cassidy's training program with his 100+ mile weeks for a miler. How is el g's training? I would think he does 100+ miles right?

Paula Radcliffe and El G were training in Albequerque recently; there is more information on her website, which can be found here (http://www.paularadcliffe.com/diary/010.php)

Hi
I don't have internet at my home right now so i haven't been on much. I didn't have much money for the site so it was suspended. Although I'm paying now. They put it back on today for some reason but it probably will go off very soon.

El G was training in Alburquerque for a month. Then returned to Morocco recently. He was race director for a race there(look for iaaf.org article). He was nominated for laureas sports award. Nothing too big news right now.

I predict El G will start his season with 2 races at 2 of these four meets(Hengelo, Ostrava, Turin, or Seville) in late May and early June. They will probably be a 3k and a 5k I predict.

I might watch the World Championships in person.

Most people will start there serious season(except for usa of course gah) in early june, although some people will run doha/hengelo in may.

The site is online for some reason! I'll update it! :)

Whoa this new forum is suprising! it was hacked! :p

My brother's friend met him at a coffee shop in Albequerque just the other day... said he was ordering a dozen jelly doughnuts. Okay, just kidding about that, but he really did meet him.

Help yourself Fenton, I was nice enough to do the research, if you really wanted to check out the sites you'd take a few seconds and remove the extra coding, I don't feel like doing all that. I was busy.

Doha Grand Prix in Qatar in Mid May is planning to try and get El G to attend but I don't know if he will, I think he won't it's just so early, I don't know if El G has ever raced that early in the season. Maybe now that he's older he wouldn't want to do that. I still predict he runs in late may/early june at two of these four meets(hengelo, ostrava, turin, or seville). After that I predict Paris and Rome. After that World Champs 5k but not sure if he's running 1500, I believe he will. After that I think he'd run Zurich, Brussels, and GP Final I believe.

I don't believe he's running a 10k at Brussels like I thought earlier. I spoke with a person who is in contact with El G and he says 10k is not El G's style because he doesn't want to imitate the multievent non specific ways of Said Aiouta(who ran from 800 to 10000). He said El G is 1500-5000 only.

Can El G get the world records in the 3k and 5k this year? I say yes, yoU?

El G retired, why is he imitating Michael Jordan and racing again?

1. ElG is done.

2. He has no shot at records in 3k and 5k. Those marks are beyond him (and everyone else with the exception of Bekele in the 5k only).
