i'm not sure on what we have this year but we had a freshman last year who ran a 17:20 5k during the xc season and ended up getting like 15th at state or something. he ran a 10:35 3200 during track at region but then a 10:38 at state. his 1600 time wasn't that good...5:07 or maybe 5:08...i'd say he's got more distance speed then like actual 800/1600 speed. he's not that bad but he hasn't been training this summer either so who knows what he might run this year.
