this thread is way better than the meet

highlight for me -- it took them 24 minutes to set up the hurdles for the boys shuttles

then they realized the girls shuttles were first

they they realized all the hurdles were facing the wrong way

Wow this meet used to decide who got first team and second team a few years back. It was hopping when I was in HS.

Of course I'm referring to the great SMR battle of 2005 when Benedicts came to our turf (rather than us travel north) and we lost. Benedicts was US#2 at the time and we were US#4. This meet solidly clinched first team for them.

I was actually going to go yesterday until I got a text around 2:45pm from one of our athletes saying they weren't going. She had previously indicated they were the night before.
