didnt vote women - dont pay enough attention to women's athletics

How is Saladino winning this? Only one gold and he doesn't even have the world record. WTF. This smells like political voting.
Voted Bolt, Bekele and Wanjiru, though Robles has been pretty impressive too.

Voted Saladino, Robles, and Bolt for men. Only voted Spotakova for women and, of course, she's in 2nd to last.

It should be Bekele, Geb, Bolt, or Robles.
They each hold a world record and 3 out of 4 of them got those wr's this year.
Bekele-->no wr but did win world xc champs, won the olympic 5k/10k in OR's.
Geb--> Ran the world record for the marathon. ran in the 10k final
Bolt--> Ran 2 wr's in the 100 this year. Ran superb races throughout his whole season. won the 4x1,100,200 all in wr's at the Olympics.
Robles--> new wr and then he won a number of races under 13 seconds
won the Olympic title almost with ease it seemed.

But Saladino?
No world record...
