I'm a nubcake so there might already be a thread up but I just wanted to see people's opinions on the regional rankings. Just wondering if people think some teams/individuals are over/underrated.

Well I was kindof wondering about this Josh Udovich. Can he really challenge Farliegh and Manfrin for the individual title? Not knocking on him by anymeans, just haven't heard much about him this year or seen any results

I've never heard of Nathan Greensburg (I think that's his name) from Glenbard East. I'm just wondering how he is going to do and that he might break into the York JV.

he wont be within a minute of those two, so im going to say no he won't challenge

I've never heard of Nathan Greensburg (I think that's his name) from Glenbard East. I'm personally angry about not being mentioned in the Regional ranking for Lake Park, yet Steve Krauss was.

Nathan Peterson. Sophomore. Ran mid 4:30's in track last year, and broke 16 at DVC last week. Great competitor.

To avoid hearing about the rankings? My coach told me the rankings and made fun of me and another runner for it.

A few weeks ago Uvodich would have been the next best, but CLS runners have a history of blowing at the end of the year

well just suck it up and beat the guys who are ranked ahead of you. rankings mean absolutely nothing when you actually get to a meet

Its just a quick write-up someone did about regionals, nothing to get worked up about. The guy making them had to write something for all 20 regionals, so its not like there's going to be an in-depth analysis of each, and there shouldn't be: the purpose of these things is just to give everybody a rough idea of what should happen around the state this weekend. No individuals at all were mentioned in many of the previews, so just be happy that your teammate got some recognition.

...and the last thing you should be doing is mouthing of on a public forum about how "unfair" it is that you weren't mentioned. Can you see how that might give people a negative impression of you...?

EDIT: at least you edited out your name and the name of the other teammate you dragged into this.

its ok luke, rookie mistake. everyone knew that i was noah graboys within like an hour of signing up because some troll claimed he was me. good luck at regionals. and to everybody whose running
