im probably no help, i got the hang of it fast, but keep doing repetitions, and even if it doesn't seem like your going to make it over the hurdle, maybe because the strides aren't big enough, try anyways, it will get easierr with time

Make sure you blocks are set right or your trail/lead leg might be switched the wrong way. And the only way to get good at it is to do it over and over again. Also try not to think about anything other than your stride and counting your steps.

I've seen a lot of people with the ability to 3-step, but they just can't allow themselves too. Just work on going for the hurdle after your 3rd step each time even if you feel like you're going to hit it. Now that may not be your problem at all, but that is just one thing I've noticed that seems to be keeping a lot of hurdlers back. Also don't lean back after the first hurdle, keep a forward lean in order to keep all your momentum forward.

Get that trail knee as high over the hurdle as possible and really reach with it once you come off the hurdle. Obviously it is possible to reach TOO far, so make sure your foot is landing close to right below your center of mass.
