He basically proved that he can say or do whatever he wants and still have his job.

Not in his district, would have voted for him.

It's all nativism. He is from here and Russell isn't. That would have been the only issue I used. I'm sure that's the only thing most of his supporters used.

Still don't see how anybody can vote for a guy who hates his entire district.

He made the entire state look like idiots to the rest of the country multiple times.

What he said is true. Most people in the district know it, and probably take some sort of sick pride in it too.

His comments about the marines are not excusable. But, I saw no problem with him calling his district a bunch of racists and rednecks.

And you know more than anything, zoom., being from here can trump pretty much ANYTHING.

Yeah, I definitely can't argue that if somebody is born & raised here, then they are given a huge advantage. That's actually one of the things I like most about western PA...everybody appreciates that.

And I also think that what he said was true to a point.

Those are just very heavy insults to use on the group of people that you are supposed to be representing and serving, and I think it's clear that he hates the group of people who he is supposed to stand for.

Yea, he has to control his tongue. But, everyone re-elected him. So that's pretty much the end of the story. Obviously not enough people were offended by it.
