I've seen some people comment on how it wasn't really that hot saying it was 60-65 ect...that's not true.

It was reported to have reached 66 degrees in boston...but that was at the airport. Temps in Copley reached 71...and it was as high as 75 in some places they ran through. It was 72 in Hopkington for Example when they were there.

Then there was the sun...if you were in the shade it was fine, but there was not a cloud in the sky,and it felt alot hotter then it was. Point being it wasn't anywhere near 60 in most of the places tehy ran through, and probably didn't go under 70 at any point of the race. Just thought i'd point that out as 10 degrees or so is a big difference.

Ps...i know i spelt weather wrong in the title for any smart asses who choose to comment lol. Can't figure out how to delete the thread and repost it under this new forum...and i can't change the title.

It was extraordinarily hot during the race, but the headwind made it a little deceptive in some places. I actually felt quite cool in the latter stages of the race after dumping water on my head due to the 15-20mph wind blowind into our faces during the race. The wind did really dry things out and accelerate dehydration, though. All in all it was a pretty brutal day with road surface temperatures around probably 80-85 degrees. The sun was horrible, I have a massive burn (mostly on my right side) since I didn't want to risk overheating from the use of sunscreen.
