Dual meets started this week for everybody I think .

I like the West Mifflin TSTCA meet because you see who wants it more. Terrible condition for everybody except the jav throwers usually.

Plus the walks down to McDonalds from the track became legendary at my school.

That is the best javelin facility in the galaxy.

The West Mifflin McDonald's is one I've never been to actually. Probably gets too dark too early for my liking in there. I have peed on the post office once next to the school. We pregamed a little too hard to go see a McKeesport playoff game a few years ago there. Shame of it is if I could have held it for like 10 more minutes I could have used the greatest restroom in the WPIAL. The bathrooms at WM Stadium are immaculate.

I like the guy who lives down the street from the school with the putting green as his front yard. It's amazing. He should be proud of that.

Hobart..........time to drop some times mofo.

He's got about a month until he should be doing anything serious. Be patient.

Pretty good article in the PG South about the combining of the WPIAL AA and AAA meets. It will be online tomorrow. I'll post it when I get around to it.

Altoona has such a great team this year.

They had 2 kids beat SC's Alex Kenney in the 200 which blows my mind.

They are looking real good so far this year...their 4x400 has yet to be contested and each time they ran 3:21.43 (at the Igloo meet) and 3:22.49(at the Dallas invite). The Dallas invite time was without their regular second leg and a soph. filled in.

Penn is coming, up and there really isn't much PA rep in the DMR...which we have done very well in the last several years. 4x8 should be fun to watch with NP and CB south both running for possible 2nd's overall. There are tons of guys in the 3k though, and micikas and furcht ought to be right up there, it'll be cool to see how they do. Tarsnane's 4:22 today shows that he's back in good shape, so i'd expect him to be back with those guys once again, and hopefully bonaventure, berman, desabato, mccollough and ivo can be right up there too.

Kevin Hull yesterday at Ship Invite, 4:16 of of 211 openinn 800 and 317-318 at 1200. The came back with a 154 (56-58), then second leg 50.4 spilt on the 4x400. Kyle Hurston 2nd leg 4x800 156.4, then 4:18 1600, then 157 open 800, then 53 leg on 4x400 lead off. Those two looked great. Robert Mickikas also very strong, 913, beating a meet record that was set way back and then also coming back with a 420 in a kickers race. Very strong. Hull is very very fast. He has a nasty gear change, his last 150 of the 1600 was really sick. Both the 800 and the 1600 were deep. top 6-7 were sub 158.
