his goose may have been cooked,
but this goose is not yet done.
his running style's got me hooked,
and his kick will be like he was shot from a gun!
my pick is not an old lady,
instead it's that shady goose mr. goofy Graham Grady!
Don't be angry. couldn't help myself.

I don't really give a crap what Maine South's 1-5 split is, considering LT will probably finish higher place-wise at every spot. Maine South is definitely good, and if Eckhart runs as well as he's capable he COULD even be a darkhorse all-state contender....
but honestly now, do you think the beginning of the season means ****?
if Maine South has improved as much as you say, consider that possibility that LT has improved more
|
true true you do make a good arguement...in that LT obviously has progressed throughout the season just as much as MS has but mike moore of maine south could def be a darkhorse all state contender...seeing as how he ran right on Tommy King and Noahs ass at conference and hes ran within a second of dave eckhardt for most of the season... but it will actually be interesting to see at state...the LT vs. MS faceoff....
heres just me predictions for top 8 teams
1. York
2. Loyola
3. Nequa Valley
4. Palatine
5. Maine South
6. Prospect
7. Lyons
8. Oak Park River Forest

I will admit I haven't followed MS closely all year, but I feel like the biggest reason Moore has been within a second of Eckhart all season is because Eckhart has only run as well as was expected of him once or twice. Based on his sectional race he is NOT a darkhore all-state contender, and I feel like he won't be unless he returns to form such as displayed at Peoria Notre Dame, where I don't think Moore was anything like a second behind him. And Dave Eckhart has not run nearly that well since.

I can't believe he hasn't been done...
If my first pick fails to be the champ
due to running slow or the course being damp
Then there is another guy who will kick some *sses
As long as he can keep running with his reading glasses
He will be sure that the pace isn't slow
Good luck at state! run fast NICO!

my favorite rambler of them all,
he's dominated courses all through the fall,
he once stopped to help out phil,
outkicking york, he knows the drill,
Leading one of the best teams in a while,
On saturday they'll be flashing many a smile
I am not sure if he's trained the most, though
get to that line first, nico composto!

Did you know that as a junior in high school in South Carolina, Frank Lucas, yes, the American Gangster, ran a 4:23 mile?

I highly doubt Maine South is going to come back from a 4th at Niles West to take 5th at State. I just don't see it happening, especially with that far back of a 1 guy. Prospect, Lyons, and OPRF will all have at least 1 guy going All-State or pushing All-State. Eckhart showed potential to go All-State at PND. He hasn't showed anything since. You say Mike Moore of MS is All-State darkhorse because he's been behind other All-State darkhorses. I don't see how that works out. That means everyone is an All-State darkhorse.
