Newman loses #1 #3(usually 4) and #7
Canton loses #1 #3 #4 #5
The strongest team returning next year is Beecher. They only lose one runner. Same with Westmont, but it's their #2. So Beecher should be the strongest returner, then Westmont. Newman could be top 10. Canton might not qualify. They don't have much depth.
And the times all seemed slow. Rehfeldt is a better runner than Smith was last year. I think if it was a lil cooler, then there would have been more under 15. And we may have possibly seen a broken record if Verzbicas hadn't have gone out about 4:25.

I had 23/25 as Simpson and Heiman made the list. Hittenmiller did horrible and Mosbach didn't do so hot. For the teams, I underestimated Carlinville Canton and Tremont. I totally called the Newman situation. Polzin and Griffin had bad races, Farringer had a great one. BV didn't run up to potential. Their usual #3 didn't have his best race ever. But they still did good. Sorry to here beecher's #3 got DQ'd. Would have gotten 3rd, 1 pt behind canton.
Freeburg: 20th place, had 5 runners finish in the last 15 people. Hmmm.....maybe they were saving themselves for nationals???
And I'm just doing the sectional vs sectional to clear the air with soloist =P
Decatur: 5th 6th 9th 10th 18th = 48 2nd (If beecher got 3rd, they still would have got 2nd.) 4 All-State
Elmwood: 2nd 7th 11th 14th 15th = 49 3rd 5 All-Staters
Aurora: 1st 4th 8th 13th 16th = 42 1st (Westmont had an off day.) 11 All-Staters
Edw: 3rd 12th 17th 19th 20th = 71 4th 5 All-Staters
