4 miles is an adjustment to be made. Especially the 4mile Mt. Sac Course.....Switchbacks twice is brutal. He did fine.

Not really. Duffin has suffered severe side stitches his last THREE races now. Potentially, he could be very near Lezama and Cardona - his close training partners and teammates. We'll see.

I'm sorry but none of his previous races, including the ones before the last three, show any sign that Duffin is anywhere near the other two. Just because you train with great runners doesn't mean you yourself turn into a great runner on race day.

Jimi is a good runner, and probably will be an even greater runner next year, but as for this year, switching off as his team's 3rd/4th and even 5th man, I don't see him anywhere near the other two runners you mentioned.

Agreed. Not quite in the league with the other two -just much better than he has recently been. Obviously, many teams pretty close together (after SBVC) at So Cal and likely State- every team will need everyone firing on all cylinders.

State Predictions anyone.
Mens side.
Womans side.
Sub 20 at the state meet on the mens side I would suppose.
May come down to who has the faster kick.
Women's race will be interesting. Kelly from cuesta and moore from glendale.
Team wise anything can happen but I like the so cal spots to take for state.
Hope everyone is taking of themselves and eachother. May see the best performances at state this year.

Tapia ftw. 1. SBVC 2. OCC 3. battle between Glendale, Mt. Sac, El Camino, ARC, and COS. I dont pay enough attention to the womens to make any predictions, but I know no pretty much no norcal teams will threaten any socal teams.

If Sergio Olivarrias and Raul Torres are healthy by state, I think OCC can win it... but we'll have to see
on the women's side, i think no one can take down glendale.

also sucks for Pedro De Alba of LA Trade Tech who got 2nd in his conference behind Cardona, cannot run anymore this season. and not because he's sick or injured.
