So, when the rankings come out next week, I would have to assume Syracuse is in the top 5, though that would be quite a jump, is there anyone playing better right now? Tennessee scores 229 points in two games, they could be a top 5 team as well. Who else is potential top 5 and who gets bumped?

There's no way they jump that far. I'd definitely say top fifteen though.

Though I would tend to agree, I think that the poll was way off this year on many teams. I think it is possible.
Just my guess:
Texas
Kansas
Tennessee
Syracuse
Duke

Syracuse is probably anywhere from 8-12, not top 5. Now have they played like a top 5 team, yes.

i agree that syracuse is a top 5 team right now but their ranking will probably be around 8-12 just because i dont think they're gonna make a 21 spot jump

I actually think this looks pretty solid right now based on what I've seen this week. I really didn't watch any Duke games, but I saw the other teams play at least once. I'm also really liking Dayton, they could move up to the top 15 or so after the way they totally dominated Georgia Tech.

Pondexter is playing so good right now.
I'd say he has a pretty good edge on Randle as Pac-10 MVP at the moment. Possibly the best wing in the nation?

I figured Pondexter was about as good as Turner. Didn't think of Harris, though.
If Harris keeps up, those are all 25/10+ guys from the wing.
