Default Posts not going through

I've tried several times to the post or respond to PM's in the last few days. After I hit submit, the screen goes white and the posts never appear. Really frustrating when I have invested some time in a post. Doesn't happen all the time, mainly on longer posts. Hope this one goes through.

Always a good idea to work a long post in a word processor document, and copy-paste when done. Our e-mail here at work is famous for 'timing out' and you lose your work if you don't realize that's happened and send without saving, so that's become standard proceedure for me at least. A big job gets done in a saved document, same goes for a little job that surprises me and begins to expand- seeing that as well I'll immediately copy paste into a new .doc and work there, moving it back when it's done.

But I've yet to have lost anything because it didn't go through when I went to post- my problems at home especially lie in the area of having the machine lock up and nothing but a reboot will unfreeze anything- especially if I've got 8 or ten windows open simultaneously.

You don't necessarily need to open a microsoft word document, it works fine for me to just copy the post out of the dyestat writing frame for a post.

Saves a bit of time.
